Our team of professional gardeners have all the knowledge and equipment to carefully mow, edge, feed and treat your lawn to ensure it looks its absolute best. During the growing season we recommend cutting you lawn between 1” to 1.5” every two weeks, which keeps it healthy and helps reduce the growth of weeds. For more out of control long grass areas we would initially use our strimmer, to get the lawn ready for mowing. We always tidy up after our-selves, using a leaf-blower to clear paths and disposing of any grass clippings in an environmentally-friendly way.
Keeping Your Lawn Healthy
We also offer weed management, scarifying, reseeding and lawn feeding services to help restore and maintain the health of your lawn. Slow-releasing seasonal feeds will help maintain a healthy lawn from root to tip, enhancing the colour and protecting it from disease. Scarification in spring or autumn is a fundamental part of any lawn care plan, it removes dead grass and moss, allowing your lawn to breathe. Any bare patches can then be reseed to give you a thicker and denser lawn. If you have frogs or toads in your garden, then please always let us know and we will take extra special care.

If you are interested in adopting a more relaxed approach to lawns and want to introduce more wildflowers, then we can guide you through the various options. You can transform part of your lawn or all of it into a wildflower meadow that does not need regular mowing and will attract bees and insects into your garden. Great plants like red and white clover, knapweed, buttercups and daises will tolerate occasional gentle mowing and flower beautifully throughout the summer.
